Frankenstein & Bride of Frankenstein Double Feature
In 1931 director James Whale brought Mary Shelley's popular novel to screen with Boris Karloff in an iconic role as the titular doctor's creation and later brought the first of the film's sequels in 1935 out in BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN Over the years it has become as revered as Whale's original film (if not more so, in some circles) with heavy focus applied to its grandiose aesthetic and queer subtext.
