Movies Scheduled for the Week of June 2 - June 8

It's June! Can't believe we are already half way through the year. Didn't we get more movies about this time? The temps are rising, and the rains and tornado's are still blowing in the wind. At least they finally fixed my A/C at the house, spousal unit fixed the A/C in the car and my cable and internet fixed itself this afternoon after depriving this place all afternoon. You don't know what you got til it's gone.

The issue came up this week of saving spaces in the lines. We have addressed this situation once (or twice) before. It got so out of hand at one point the theaters decided to enforce their own rules. But as management changes, the folks in line started to get lax again. We all save spaces for our posse's. But we had regulated our selves to only saving a handful of places, not huge groups for everyone they know. Nothing is worse than coming early then finding yourself not getting in because most of seats are reserved and the people in front of you got in place long after you got in line. We would love to have a life and wander in whenever we want. Understandably people do work, put the pass says, first come, first serve. If theaters start setting the rules like no holding spaces, all bodies must be in line, if you are late, you must go to the end of the line, then we have to do better ourselves. Use common sense. And lets try and get along. These screenings are free! It's a privilege not a right. Lets show our appreciation to those that are running these screenings and allowing us to enjoy seeing films for free before they open.
