The movie season is heating up and we have a lot of screenings coming up this month. Remember you must enter the contests, go to the pass pickups, do whatever it is you need to do to acquire passes on your own. Please do not rely on someone else doing it for you by begging for passes from the group. And please wait until the contests have ended before you ask people for their passes. If you want to know what screenings are pending in the weeks to come, please visit the calendar section of our group pages. We have also included the pass source for the screening so you can visit their websites. If the screening theater is known, the information is also posted on the calendar.
The Dallas International Film Festival is gearing up beginning April 4 - 14. This is a great event for us movie lovers. If you volunteer you can earn movie vouchers to attend the films. For more information go to http://www.dallasfilm.org/ People from all over the world attend and Dallas is well known for their friendly, helpful, Texas welcomes. Give back to your movie community by a few hours and get to see some movies that you probably won't be able to see anywhere else.
