Movies Scheduled for the Week of 3/10 - 3/16

The Dallas International Film Festival is gearing up to start on April 4 and running through April 14. This is a great chance to see over 170 movies from all over the world. It brings in filmmakers and VIPs from all over and operates with the generous help of volunteers. This is your chance to give back to the screening community and show these celebrities our big Texas welcome. If you missed the orientation last weekend, it's still not late to sign up. After all who knows more about movie screenings than we do? A few hours will earn you vouchers to attend the movies. Tell them Dallas Movie Screenings sent y'all.

Lots and lots of movies this week. Remember to get the movie passes you must enter the contests or go to the pass pickups. Don't ask the moderator to send you a pass. This moderator has to jump through all the hoops too, so you are expected to do the same. If and when the contests close, then and only then can you ask others for help. Don't expect someone to enter those contests just to give you a pass.

Save it to your favorites. This way you won't randomly ask for a screening location that doesn't have anything scheduled.

Y'all realize when your email is rejected it's because you wrote to the group instead of responding the originator of that pass offer. When your email has been hacked and it's sending spam to the group it will be rejected so go change your password. If you leave phone numbers or large attachments in your email, it will be edited out. And don't forget to put a designator in your subject line (Want/Need, Offer, Trade, Released). (You know if you release it to GOFOBO, especially at the last minute, it won't help anyone else?).
